저는 목사님의 믿음에 관하여 들었을 때 목사님께 감사했습니다. 목사님을 핍박하는 사람들이 눈과 귀와 마음을 주님께 열기를 기도합니다.

I gave thanks for you when I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray the eyes, ears and hearts of those who persecute you may open to Jesus. Philippians 1:29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

❗️2019.07.25 Update - Reverend John Cao, who is well known for his work in Myanmar, has had his trial postponed for the seventh time.
Pastor John Cao of North Carolina was arrested suddenly after crossing the border in Myanmar in March 2017. He was charged with “illegal border crossing” and sentenced to seven years in prison. Prior to this arrest, Cao had frequently made such crossings with the knowledge of the authorities due to the nature of his ministry work, but this was the first time they intervened. After multiple delays for final trial, the latest notice by Pu’er Intermediate People’s Court of Yunnan province shows Pastor John is re-scheduled to final trial on August 22. Let’s continue to pray for Pastor Cao and his family. This is the 7th time the court has delayed the trial of this Christian leader.
Pastor John Chao’s health has deteriorated dramatically while he is in prison. He suffers from hemorrhoids and constipation and has even lost half of a tooth in addition to his lack of exposure to sunshine.
