BENIN — Man Cursed by Witch Doctor Finds Peace in God
Benoit’s family tried to have him cursed by a witch doctor because of his Christian faith.
Shortly after Benoit gave his life to Christ, his family began to persecute him, trying to force him
to return to their traditional religion of witchcraft.
Benoit’s family beat him to convince him to forsake Christ, and when he refused, they went to a witch doctor, asking for a curse to make him go mad. Benoit began to struggle emotionally until a pastor prayed for him. After receiving prayer, Benoit felt peace. Benoit is staying with a front-line worker while he grinds corn to support himself. He hopes to one day have his own mill to work for himself.
Pray for Benoit to be able to find work, and pray that he can lead his family to Christ.
