YEMEN — More than 50 Christians Imprisoned Without Charges

In early 2026, local Yemeni authorities arrested more than 50 Christians, including pastors and church leaders, who remain in jail without charges.

Family members were able to contact one of the imprisoned Christians, a pastor named Jon. Pastor Jon had been incarcerated several years earlier, and his life was threatened while in prison. This time he initially faced some health issues, but a front-line worker reported that his health has improved. “Please pray that those arrested will keep trusting the Lord and be light and salt to their captors and other prisoners,” a front-line worker requested.

“Pray for their families and for their release. And pray that just like the first church in Acts… this persecution and church response would be an opportunity for the church to grow and for more to hear the Good News of our Lord.”
