Instead of asking to be rescued from suffering, for example, they ask for God to keep them faithful <\/span>in the midst of<\/span> suffering and to use their suffering to further the gospel.<\/span> That\u2019s<\/span> why this calendar is special: We ask persecuted Christians what they want us to pray for them, rather than us just praying for them what we think they need.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Foley believes that <\/span>both the detailed daily prayer requests<\/span> and the photos of joyful Christians in closed countries are important for Korean Christians to see. \u201cThe calendar is not full of sad faces or depressing prayer requests because in our experience, persecuted Christians are typically more joyful and bold and ministry-driven than Christians in other countries,\u201d says Foley. \u201cWe believe Korean Christians will grow in <\/span>their <\/span>faith as a result of using this calendar to pray together daily with persecuted Christians.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
