Representative Foley<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>says Voice of the Martyrs Korea\u00a0<\/span><\/span>sent emergency\u00a0<\/span><\/span>aid\u00a0<\/span><\/span>totaling approximately 10,000,000 KRW<\/span><\/span>\u00a0from its Families of Martyrs and Prisoners Fund. Those funds\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are being used to build\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a home for Christian refugees, as well as sound equipment and furnishings for\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>new\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Salvation Army\u00a0<\/span><\/span>prayer room.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”33690″ img_size=”600×600″ alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Voice of the Martyrs Korea\u00a0<\/span><\/span>previously reported that\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span>round 8am\u00a0<\/span><\/span>on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Friday\u00a0<\/span><\/span>November 27<\/span><\/span>, terrorists set\u00a0<\/span><\/span>fire to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>prayer room<\/span><\/span>\u00a0before killing\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Salvation Army\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Captain\u00a0<\/span>Arnianto<\/span>, Lieutenant Abram Kako and his wife<\/span><\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>another Christian identified as\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Mrs<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Mpapa<\/span><\/span>. Out of the four victims,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>one was beheaded, two were\u00a0<\/span><\/span>hacked to death,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the other\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was burned to death<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Representative Foley says VOM workers have learned that the terrorist group may have suspected the Christian community of reporting them to the police.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the attack,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>many\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>750 Christians\u00a0<\/span><\/span>who\u00a0<\/span><\/span>were\u00a0<\/span><\/span>driven from their homes\u00a0<\/span><\/span>were in shock and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>expressed\u00a0<\/span><\/span>some f<\/span><\/span>ear<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0about returning to the village,\u201d says Representative Foley. \u201cThe rebuilding of the homes that burned and the refurbishing of the prayer room that was destroyed are a powerful\u00a0<\/span><\/span>sign to everyone\u2014the Christians and the terrorists\u2014that the Christians\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Lewonu<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Lembantongoa<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are here to stay<\/span><\/span>, and the testimony of Jesus will not be silenced in that village.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
