From the entire village only three families including\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0had converted to the new faith<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0three years ago. Pastor Kosha\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Mosaki<\/span><\/span>\u00a0is engaged in conducting an independent church<\/span><\/span>, \u2018<\/span><\/span>Bethel House Church<\/span><\/span>\u2019,<\/span><\/span>with these three<\/span><\/span>\u00a0families.<\/span><\/span>\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Representative Foley says that Pastor Kosha was threatened by radical Hindu<\/span><\/span>\u00a0nationalists<\/span><\/span>\u00a0several times for<\/span><\/span>\u00a0conducting church services with these three\u00a0<\/span><\/span>village\u00a0<\/span><\/span>families.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Representative Foley says that the p<\/span><\/span>astor\u00a0<\/span><\/span>then\u00a0<\/span><\/span>stopped going to the village to conduct Sunday service.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/span>Though he was a school going boy, he used to lead the church service at home in the absence of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>p<\/span><\/span>astor<\/span><\/span>,\u201d says Representative Foley<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/span>The<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>radical Hindu<\/span><\/span>\u00a0nationalist<\/span><\/span>s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>attempted to dissuade\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru<\/span><\/span>\u00a0from leading worship service<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Representative Foley says that o<\/span><\/span>n\u00a0<\/span><\/span>June 4\u00a0<\/span><\/span>at 9:00 pm, while the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Madkami<\/span><\/span>\u00a0family was asleep<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and the father was away<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>radical\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Hindu\u00a0<\/span><\/span>nationalists<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>barged into their house and picked up\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru<\/span><\/span>. \u201cT<\/span><\/span>he extremists led them to a mountainous terrain<\/span><\/span>,\u201d says Representative Foley<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201cThe\u00a0<\/span><\/span>other two Christians who were stronger and older escaped from the militants. But\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru<\/span><\/span>\u00a0was caught off guard and fell on the ground after a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>struggle<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Representative Foley says that l<\/span><\/span>ater, the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Hindu extremists<\/span><\/span>\u00a0chopped his body into pieces<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>buried\u00a0<\/span><\/span>parts of his body along the mountainside before fleeing from the spot.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On June<\/span><\/span>\u00a05<\/span><\/span>, a missing\u00a0<\/span><\/span>person\u2019s report\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was filed in Malkangiri Police station by the victim’s family. Later, the All India Christian Council local member Pastor Vijay\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Pusuru<\/span><\/span>\u00a0helped the victim\u2019s father Mr.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Bhanga<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Madkami<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to lodge a<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>First Information Report<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(FIR)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0that his son\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was<\/span><\/span>\u00a0missing. The victim’s family alleged that villagers identified as\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Deba<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Madkami<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Budra<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Muchaki<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Aaita<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Kabasi<\/span><\/span>, and Rabu Madi had picked up\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru<\/span><\/span>. The police arrested them and recovered the buried body.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/span>The three\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Christian\u00a0<\/span><\/span>families<\/span><\/span>, including\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Samaru\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>family<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0fear<\/span><\/span>ed<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>for their\u00a0<\/span><\/span>li<\/span><\/span>ves<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in their village<\/span><\/span>,\u201d says Representative Foley<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/span>Pastor Vijay\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Pusuru<\/span><\/span>\u00a0brought th<\/span><\/span>e<\/span><\/span>\u00a0families\u00a0<\/span><\/span>out of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>their village and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>is keeping\u00a0<\/span><\/span>them in a nearby village for safety.<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
