It is increasingly being called &#8216;the Day of the Christian Martyr.'&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voice of the Martyrs Korea commemorated the holiday this year by adding the North Korean martyr Cha Deok-Sun to their Martyrs Timeline, a line of plaques commemorating the lives of martyrs throughout history. Red martyrs, like Martyr Cha Deok Sun, are Christians who die witnessing to the gospel. Green martyrs, like Kim Gyo Shin, are Christians who die to their own comforts, pleasure, and security. White martyrs, like our volunteers, are Christians who die to the world\u2019s values and ways of thinking in order to fully alive to God in Christ. We\u2019ve redesigned the Kim Gyo Shin home to reflect all three kinds of martyrs and to support our growing base of volunteers.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representative Foley notes that Voice of the Martyrs volunteers help  with the ministry\u2019s daily radio broadcasts, book publishing, balloon  launching, and training programs and resources for North Korean,  Chinese, and Russian Christians.
