He, and others like him, traveled by motorbike across rugged landscapes, including extremely muddy and rocky jungle tracks. These Vietnamese pastors and evangelists rode on their motorbikes and proclaimed the gospel and planted churches, even though they faced hardship and persecution.<\/p>\n

Several months before his death, local authorities destroyed Brother Ph\u00e1t\u2019s home as a warning to stop his gospel ministry. But Brother Ph\u00e1t continued.<\/p>\n

On March 11, 2026, Brother Ph\u00e1t was returning home from a ministry trip and he was viciously kicked off of his motorbike. After falling to the ground, he was beaten and left in a ditch on the side of the road. He died shortly after.<\/p>\n

Brother Ph\u00e1t leaves behind his wife and a family that have endured extreme hardships because of their faith. Pray for God\u2019s comfort for them and pray that they will remain faithful to Jesus.<\/p>\n

On this International Martyr\u2019s Day, we celebrate the life and ministry of Brother Ph\u00e1t. His life was marked by faithful service despite persecution.
