BENIN — Man Kills Son, Threatens Daughter-in-Law for Following Christ
Lea's father-in-law killed her husband because of his faith in Christ.
Lea and her husband, Solomon, lived with Solomon’s father, who was a priest in the traditional religion of their village.
When Solomon’s father discovered that Solomon and Lea were going to a Christian church, he killed Solomon and threatened Lea, kicking her and her three children out of his home. Unable to provide for her family, Lea sent her two older children to live with her sister in a nearby village while she works to expand her sewing business to be able to fully support her family.
“God gives me peace, and I know he is with me,” Lea said. “Please pray that God will help my business grow, and for protection from my father-in-law.”
