GUINEA — Widow Remains Faithful After Being Kicked Out of Several Homes

Zainab is being cared for by a pastor along with other persecuted believers

Zainab, a blind widow, was kicked out of her in-laws’ home after refusing to give up her Christian faith.

Although her Muslim husband had allowed her to attend church, worship as she pleased and raise their six children as Christians, when he died his family tried to force Zainab to convert to Islam. Zainab has been kicked out of several homes since her husband’s death because of her Christian faith, and she is currently supporting five grandchildren.

Pray that Zainab and her family will find a stable place to live.

how is she supporting her grandchildren if she is blind?
What means of income does she have?
How much would it cost to buy a plot and put up a simple home for her?

Hi Anita! Yes – it is truly a difficult situation for this lady, but thankfully we’ve been able to see the Lord at work in her situation. At this point, the best thing you can do is pray for her. We will keep you updated on her situation if there are other specific ways to help her. Some things we are not able to share for security reasons. Thank you!! ~ Pastor Tim
